Shortly after his emergence as the President of the foremost social club in Owo Kingdom, that is, Owo Recreation Club, Ch. Duromola Rotimi Abodi popularly know as Apola has appointed the worthy philanthropist, political juggernaut and former Social Secretary of the Club, Mr Kennedy Olarenwaju Bayode ( KOB) as the his Senior Special Assistant on Special Duties .
Until his appointment, Kennedy is a prominent member of the club and the indefatigable Chairman of Isaac Monisola Ekundayo Bayode Foundation (IMEBF). He is a magnanimous and cheerful giver of repute. He is also one of the leading Chairmanship Aspirants for Owo LGA on the platform of All Progressive Congress (APC) for the forthcoming Local Government Council Election in Ondo State . Apart from the fact that he is an astute political gladiator with acumen and a dignified personality with track records of meritorious services, KOB has equally proved himself to be a worthy son of the soil and good ambassador of Owo Kingdom. He is above board both in his private and public life.
Recently through his family foundation,IMEBF during Christmas Season, Kennedy with his siblings has put smiles on the faces of a great number of the needy, the aged and people with physical disabilities by sharing palliatives(food items) , wheelchairs, walking aids, working tools for artisans and by providing financial support to market women/traders, scholarship /grants to students and welfare packages for the aged to the turn of several millions of naira. .
Also, the his family foundation has empowered youths that won first , second and third and fourth positions in games : Ayo Olopon, Checkers and Ludo to the turn of six million naira to the admiration of all by supporting their businesses.
It's the opinion of the newly-elected President of Owo Recreation Club that KOB will impact his generation positively with his new appointment. While congratulating himon the new feather to his cap,the President said, "Your appointment is indeed well deserved. You have paid your dues, and our understanding is that you will use your new office to further impact lives positively and help place Owo Recreation Club on the pedestal of recognition."
The President while congratulating the philanthropist however advised KOB not to use his new portfolio to chase after butterflies..
