NACOMYO Ondo State Appreciates Supporters & Attendees At Muharam 1446AH Hijrah Anniversary For Their Worthy Contributions To Islam ; Charges All Critical stakeholders On Assistance Geared Towards Completion Of Ongoing Projects
Sunday ,7th July 2024 was indeed a memorable day for all Muslims all over the world being the first day of the month of Muharam 1446; a day to celebrate the beginning of another bountiful year.
In a special event organized by National Council of Muslim Youth Organizations(NACOMYO), Ondo State Chapter which was well attended by top government functionaries, Royal fathers, spiritual leaders, Muslim youth organizations , students, youth corps, and many other interests groups as well as Muslim faithfuls,the State Coordinator of the Council, Engr. Ogunmola Muhammed Dayo while wishing the Muslim Ummah Happy New and Prosperous Year in the Islamic Calendar also charged the Government of the Sunshine State, Top Government Functionaries, Spiritual Leaders and other Critical Stakeholders at the event to rise up to the numerous challenges facing moslems in the state.

The occasion was spiced with various activities to make it a memorable event. This program included a symposium with a public lecture that was delivered by the Guest Speaker , Prof. Abideen Olaitan Olaiya of UNAB on "Economic & Socio-political Liberation of Ondo State: The Roles of Muslims" . The event was carried by the Hon. Minister of Interior, Hon. Bunmi Tunji Ojo (BTO) but was unavoidably absent due to pressing national assignments. Other activities include Qur'an Recitation and Match Past by students of some public schools and Arabic schools across the three Senatorial Districts of Ondo State.
In his appreciation message received by Abejoye Media News, the State Co-ordinator on behalf of the Executive Council and the entire members of NACOMYO in Ondo State expressed profound gratitude to the Government and the Executive Governor of the state,HE, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Ayedatiwa who was represented at the occasion by the Hon. Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs,Hon. Amidu Takuro for the invaluable support for Muslims and consideration for Islam. The message reads In parts:
