The Chairman of Owo North - West LCDA, Ch. Alaba Eniola- Ajipe Esq. has felicitated with the good people of the Council particularly the Christians at this year Christmas Celebration to commemorate the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Barr. A. Eniola Ajipe, who is also the Ailoyen of Emure - Ile kingdom, the Headquarters of Owo North - West LCDA, in his Special Christmas message through his Media Aide reminds the Christians the message of peace, nobility and humility that heralded the birth of Jesus Christ. He further challenges the Christians and the good people of the Council to always embrace peace as the only catalyst for rapid development of newly created LCDA.
The Chairman admonishes citizens especially the youths of the LCDA to celebrate with moderation and shun every act that is antithetical to their good health, purposeful living and Community development.
The Chairman enjoins Christians and the entire good people of the Council to use the yuletide period to intercede for our amiable Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN, CON in prayers for God’s mercy and speedy recovery. He also enjoins the people to commit the Acting Governor, H. E, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa into the hands of God for divine wisdom and guidance as he is now constitutionally empowered to direct the affairs of the state .
The Chairman vehemently calls for cooperation and mutual understanding of every citizen of the Council as he maintains that they must all work together to build a formidable and virile Council. Ajipe reiterates his promise of running an open door administration where stakeholders shall always be first to be consulted especially in the formulation of various policies that would affect the well-being of the residents and benefit our people generally as a new Council.
While concluding his Special Christmas wishes , the Council boss prays for the well-being of ,and for God’s divine guidance for the revered traditional rulers whose various jurisdictions are within the Council Areas namely:The Olowo of Owo,, The Elemure of Emure - Ile and The Oloba of Uso. He also prays for their Baales and the Chiefs in the entire Owo North - West Local Council Development Area as he wishes them Merry Christmas and New Year Celebrations.
