The PDP family in Owo Local Government Area under the leadership of the chairman, High Ch. Idris Okeowo Olafimihan-Asaba has joined other eminent personalities and great people of Owo kingdom in particular and Nigeria as a whole to congratulate the foremost monarch and priceless jewel of Owo kingdom , HIM, Alayeluwa, Oba (Dr) Ajibade Gbadegesin Ogunoye (III) on his appointment as the Chancellor,Federal University of Science and Technology, Bubara, Jigawa State.
This is a great attestation of the unparalleled mentorship , quality leadership and rare panache of Ogwaluwaye who has distinguished himself as a traditional ruler and stands out among his peers as a great icon of hope for the entire good people of the kingdom because of his firm character, administrative acumen and institutional discipline .
In the letter personally signed by the PDP stalwart and eloquent Chief of Owo from Iloro Quarter of the ancient town, Asaba expressed confidence in Olowo Ajibade Ogunoye's strong and political will do to pursue virtues for his people and will do them proud in his new office without disappointing President Muhammadu Buhari or any individual or group.
The PDP family therefore appreciate the outgoing president of Nigeria, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR for the great gesture while saluting the courage and good will of the Honourable Minister for Education, Alh. Adamu Adamu for his resolve, great considerations and reckoning for Olowo at the national level.
Olowo Ajibade Gbadegesin Ogunoye is therefore charged to move mountains for the citadel of higher learning now that education has gradually become low standard in the face of neglect, ignorance and poor administration and funding ,but the only saving grace of the ordinary men and the nation at large..
As a disciplinarian, academic giant and a man with shinning dignity , mentorship ambience and management prowess, our people's expectations are extremely high believing that our dearest royal father will leave no stone unturned to deliver excellently in his new office .
According to Asaba Eleshakun, while also responding to questions from our reporter said ," Olowo is deep and penetrating. He is calm and collected. He understands life pretty well and is privileged to learn administration and management of men and materials under the great tutelage of his father and mentor, the legendary Olowo Adekola Ogunoye (II). He concluded by describing the great icon and custodian of Yoruba cultures and tradition as a man of purpose whose dictionary has no space for failure and disappointment. He however didn't forget to charge him to be more focused, purposeful and forthright like always in his new portfolio."
