The PDP candidate for Owo/Ose Federal Constituency, Rt. Hon. Ayodeji Samuel Arowele has congratulated Nigerians especially the good people of Owo and Ose LGAs as the entire world celebrate the new in grand style.
Arowele prayed for the nation and her people when he wished them a prosperous year 2023 in sound health and abundant blessings with adequacy of security of lives and property that shall guarantee peace , unity ,love and harmony in the land.
In his new year message personally signed and made available to Abejoye Media News, Arowele expressed profound gratitude to God Almighty for his unmerited favour and grace when he congratulated his constituents in Owo/Ose Federal Constituency for witnessing a new year of greater expectations and fresh opportunities with multiple victories and stories of breakthrough.
The veteran and seasoned lawmaker also admonished the good citizens of Nigeria especially those of Owo and Ose LGAs never to give up on the nation at this most trying time in her tumultuous journey to nationhood. The message read in parts ," Our dear nation is now doubt currently overwhelmed with great challenges from insecurity to economic woes, and that our people live with pains and in despair. It's very possible for our dear citizens ,having directly affected by the excruciating pains stepping out of the inadequacies of the elitist class ,to give up on Nigeria. I implore you all however to stand up and stand firm to defend your fatherland.In truth like a general, I'm with you all in this struggle of emancipation. In this rescue mission,I shall be the first to step into the battle field and the last man standing to retrieve my feet from the same ground. "
" We are determined in PDP to close rank to fight this myriad of monsters haunting our tranquility. The monsters so unleashed from our nation's Pandora's Box are on the rampage to devour our dear nation and sentence her citizens into penury and utter darkness. We shall fight all foes and support all friends to stop this scourge. This is our mission as a party and legion of rescuers."
While challenging the people particularly of Owo and Ose to defend themselves against any external aggression and threat, Arowele in a distressed tone declared," Ose is now the den of kidnappers , mindless herders and the unfortunate marauders currently plundering our once secured and peaceful community. No doubt ,our people now live with palpable fear. The foundation of Owo Kingdom was shaken to her foundation first time in her history of a millennium years with massacre of St. Francis Catholic Church ,Owaluwa amidst untold woes and suffering. Today our people live with living fear and dying hope as these unfortunate nightmares have stolen their sleep and peace. The apprehension in the land is loud and audible. In Ose and Owo and their suburbs, many are quietly migrating to more peaceful environment due to insecurity challenges. This has to stop ,and our people deserve to live happily with their families in peace and with positive hope. This is the reason we must come together,stay together and fight together to rescue our federal constituency in this year through the general polls."
In the forthcoming round of elections, the former Deputy Speaker of Ondo State House of Assemby appealed to the electorates to conduct themselves properly by showing positive attitudes that will help strengthen our nscent democracy. " Let go into the election with a clear conscience and resolute resolve to vote out the APC and their candidates so as to return Nigeria to the people who truly own power and authority in our constitution by eschewing bitterness and shinning violence at all costs even in the face of intimidation or provocation."
The candidate to beat in the 2023 poll submitted finally that a new Nigeria with prosperity is possible if we are determined to achieve it. " Year 2023 is a Year of great decision either to go after our total freedom or continue with gruelling hardship under this repressive regime of the oligarchic few, the plutocrats and Adolf Hitlers on the corridors of power at all levels of government."
