In his message of felicitations to Nigerian youths, Hon. Nasirudeen I. Boboye-, Ijawoye ,the Ondo North Senatorial Youth Leader while congratulating Nigerians for seeing yet another wonderful year of multiple blessing ,grace and opportunities has described year 2022 as a terrible period for Nigeria and her citizens judging from the mounting insecurity challenges and plethora of woes that betide the nation under the current regime of anarchy and draconian legislations.
He however raised hope and expectations for them as he revealed that 2023 will usher in prosperity to the citizenry.
Boboye implored the youth to brace up to save their future as he explained that the nation is currently under reconstruction. " I felicitate with you, but am seriously worried by the present state of the nation. As youths,we are worst affected by the woes in the land as our future is already bleak due to the fact that it's already mortgaged by the few lucky ones (the oligarchic few) on the corridors of power."
He stated further," Let stand up for our dear nation. 2023 general elections have provided the platform for us all to seriously engage ourselves and chart a new course for economic breakthrough , political stardom and social freedom for our fatherland. Let us not chase butterflies with this golden opportunity. Nigeria must be jealously rescued and returned to the people as the people, in a true democracy,are the real legislators."
Nasirudeen also charged the hierarchy of the PDP to close rank and remains united in their resolve to bail Nigeria out of the woods. " Today ,I challenge the leadership of our great party , the PDP to come to a round table to rededicate themselves to a greater Nigeria. We must build new resolve,new hope and new expectations. We are worried by the rancour brewing under the umbrella by the G-5. We earnestly call on the aggrieved PDP governors to order while admonishing our party leadership and presidential candidate,Alh. Atiku Aburbaka to settle their difference as Nigerians see PDP as the true rescuers in the battle ahead."
While wishing the entire citizenry especially the youth to build new resolve to kiss self-reliance and self-sufficiency, the Youth Leader who is also the Secretary of The Democracy Promoters(TDP), an online political platform and Assistant Secretary of PDP Support Group (PSG) in Ondo State appealed to all to pray for the nation while charging the APC-led administration to be alive to their constitutional obligations to the entire citizens.
He wished the youths and Nigerians especially PDP stalwarts and members in Ondo State particularly Ondo North happy new year and prosperous beginning of freedom and peaceful co-existence!
Finally he wished the youth a more prosperous year ahead of them with abundant blessings and sound health as he said," We shall soon pretty soon. Don't be depressed or downcasted, our freedom is near.The moment to consolidate our struggle of survival is here . Don't ever waste this chance. Once again, happy new year and more years ahead to celebrate."
