The chairman and the entire members of PDP in Owo LGA have congratulated and felicitated with the legal luminary and university don on the conferment of Associate Professor on him by the management Board of ABUAD.
It was another feather to the cap of Barr. Supo Ijabadeniyi who is an astute political juggernaut and certificated nurse as he became an Associate Professor at Afe Babalola University ,Ado Ekiti.
Ijabadeniyi popularly known as Idera being the proprietor of Idera Clinics was a seasoned and qualified nurse but now a legal luminary, university don and grassroots politician who is a fine democrat and accomplished progressive element . He was previously the Vice-chairman of Owo LGA during AD-led administration under Late Gov. Adebayo Adefarati between 1999 -2003.
Barely few months to the 2003 general election, in 2002, Idera defected to the PDP from AD ;and for his political sagacity/ electoral values, native intelligence and cerebral ingenuity, he was appointed the Special Assistant by the then Ondo State Governor, H.E, Late Dr Olusegun Agagu on Youth and Student Matters in 2003. He was in this capacity till February,2009 until the regime was abruptly sacked by the Appeal Court on Electoral Tribunal in Benin ,Edo State and declared Dr Olusegun Mimiko as the executive governor of the state..
Olasupo , the Proprietor, Idera Clinics and Principal Partner, Legal Concepts ( Idera Law Firm) is a Registered Nurse with Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from University of Ibadan. Thereafter, he proceeded to the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife where he bagged a Master of Community Health degree.
As a Special Assistant but for his unquenchable thirst for knowledge, Ijabadeniyi returned to Adekunle Ajasin University , Akungba Akoko ( AAUA) for his Bachelor Degree in Law thus becoming one of the few to change from science oriented course of study to arts related discipline ,thus making him a polyvalent scholar.He diligently and assiduously pursued his dream with determination until recently when he bagged Ph.D in Medical Sociology.
This academic giant has been with ABUAD as a senior lecturer but a day ago ,he received his nomination letter confirming his appointment as an Associate Professor by the management Board of the university. He is the Acting Head, Department of Social Justice of the citadel of higher learning. He is also the Chairman of the Parents-Teachers Consultative Forum of ivory tower. At the last Convocation ceremony of ABUAD, Idera won the Most Devoted Staff Award of the University with many gifts in appreciations of e worthy contributions to good ideals , exemplary leadership and catholic/ meaningful education .
This nurse turned legal luminary and university don is thoroughly bred by his harbingers considering his firmness of character and mercurial institutional discipline at all fora. He is a faithful and loyal stalwart of the PDP. He is tested, trusted and reliable as a purposeful and forthright leader having served the umbrella party as the South-West Zonal Legal Adviser.
Supo has served the PDP in various capacities, the last being the Deputy Campaign Coordinator for Jegede/Gboluga Campaign Organization in 2020 gubernatorial election until his new appointment as the PDP Returning Officer, Atiku/Okowa Presidential election few days ago. Currently he is the Campaign Coordinator, Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) in Owo LGA.
For his community and human capacity development and integration initiatives, Idera was installed as Aare of Idasen Land ,the chieftaincy title he held since 1992..He is a renowned spiritual vessel too as a distinguished member, Pastor-In -Council (MPIC) of Celestial Church of Christ (CCC) Worldwide ,who is cool,calm,collected and calculated at all times and in all ocassions.
This enigma and precious pearl is married to his jewel of inestimable values - a paragon of beauty and perfect example of modesty, the delectable Chief (Mrs) Foluke Ijabadeniyi , the Yeyemesho of Idashen Land, and the marriage is blessed with wonderful children.
