Today NIGERIA is sixty -two (62) years old. Notwithstanding, we must congratulate ourselves on the journey so far. At least,we are operating under free indigenous administration unlike in the colonial era.
Nevertheless, at this juncture that the essence of true freedom which our Independence in196O from the Britain truly represents, it is not out of place to say that we are today tormented by the nightmares of economic woes, squalor/abject poverty, insecurity challenges and other unhidden troubling poisons of emerging nation.
As it's , the almost eight years of APC administration under the watch of President Muhammadu Buhari has indeed shown clearly without the crystal ball that all is not well with our dear nation . The country is already primed with anger of social dislocations, political distortions and regional cleavages fermented by ethnic/tribal sentiments, religious bigotry, bleeding insurgency and mindless corruption.
Therefore, this repressive regime led by the worst oppressors , tissues of irreconciliable , social lepers ,power vampires and political anathemas now the unfortunate occupants of the corridors of power, must be earnestly sacked and the APC ousted out of power to reset the nation on the path to prosperity.
From Change Mantra to Next Level Slogan, Nigerians have been hoodwinked and fed with the poisons of deprivation,lack and denial despite the avalanche of resources at our disposal as a wealthy nation.
It's quite disturbing that this regime - a portrait of despondence, anarchy and anomies with draconian legislations - has stolen the soul and health of our dear nation leaving with us an empty nation with bruises marked by empty treasury, huge debts and disconnect at most critical places.
Nigerians who are now living with dying hope and living fears owing to frequent demand for seccession, autonomy or restructuring,are tired of living in perpetual penury and perils again.
This auspicious moment is meant to reflect on the sorry state of the nation by all concerned citizens. This is also a moment to make a choice between rebuilding the nation like Nehemiahs or play the roles of Tobiats and Sambalats in our mission to have a more prosperous nation .
The PDP has provided a platform for aggregation of opinions,ideas and contributions to rescue Nigeria. In our various platforms and places,let us preach this gospel of freedom and solidarity at this auspicious moment.
With us in the PDP , and with me in Owo/ Ose Federal Constituency, our commitment to correct the anomalies is sacrosanct. We have set our hands on the ploughs, looking back for us is a crime to men and sin to God, our Maker.
Surely ,if we pull and push together, NIGERIA shall once again be repositioned to sit with comfort on the pedestal of prominence reverence, and greatness. This lofty dream is only possible with the PDP, the umbrella party..
If we take the decision and the great step now, decades and generations shall be changed positively in our lifetime.
