As the news of the death of Lady Evangelist Grace Akeredolu , the dearest mother of the Executive Governor of Ondo State,HE , Arakunrin Oluwarotimi O. Akeredolu filtered into the public at the early hours of Thursday,15th September 2022, Rt. Hon. Arowele , the former Deputy Speaker of Ondo State House of Assemby and the current PDP Candidate for House of Representatives,Owo/ Ose Federal Constituency has condoled with the governor and his entire family.
In a condolence message personally signed by the PDP candidate, he described the governor's mother who died at 90 as a rare gem who gave quality upbringing to her children . The message reads in part," Mama was a great harbinger of fine and refined leaders as her tutelage had produced quality products with uncommon traits and other sterling attributes of fairness, equity, etiquette , purposefulness, humility and compassion so revealing particularly in the Chief Security Officer of the sunshine state."
While describing the governor's mother as a rare icon,an amazon and a worthy mentor who was a model of an ideal wife/mother , he mentioned that the pains of the cherished memories of the giant shall be difficult to bear for the families especially our dearest Arakunrin."
The Deputy Speaker prayed for the repose of Mama's soul in the bosom of her Creator while also praying the heavens to grant Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu ,SAN and the entire families Mama left behind the rare fortitude to bear the monumenal and irreparable loss.

We received with a rude shock the news of the death of your dearest loving and elegant mother.
Lady Evangelist Grace Akeredolu to us was a great harbinger of fine and refined leaders as her tutelage has produced quality children with uncommon traits and other sterling attributes of honour, fairness, equity, etiquette, purposefulness, humility and compassion so revealing particularly in the Chief Security Officer of Ondo State.
Mama Akeredolu was an Avatar and Amazon who was a paragon of beauty and an embodiment of virtue by her peity.She was exceptionally warm and revealingly accommodating as a mother of all. Her death definitely has left behind a huge vacuum/void that shall be difficult to fill.
Knowing how dear this great icon and rare gem is to you Your Excellency, we know our words shall be insufficient to assuage you of the great anguish/pains associated with this huge irreparable loss and the cherished memories of the loved and the lost.
However, we are sufficiently comforted that our dearest Arakunrin and the first family , and by extension Mama's extended families shall find in our message of condolences the consolation/comfort needed and the fortitude required to bear this monumenal loss at this period of mourning .
May God Almighty grant the soul of our dear pillar, shade and mentor-an epitome of love and empathy eternal peace in the bosom of her Maker.
