The candidate of the People Democratic Party,PDP for Owo/ Ose Federal Constituency, Rt. Hon. Samuel Ayodeji Arowele has described the elevation of Elemure of Emure-Ile,Oba Simeon Adedubaje Adeyefa (I) JP; Ojomo-luda of Ijebu-Owo,Oba Kofoworola Oladoyinbo Aruliwo II ; Olupele of Upele ,Oba Victor Agan-un Irodokun (I) JP in Owo LGA and Olumoru of Imoru ,Oba Oluwarotimi Obamuwagun and Olute of Ute, Oba Michael Adetunji Akinrogbe -Arole Akensi (I) Oba Imole in Ose LGA as a welcomed development.

While congratulating the traditional rulers and the good people of the above mentioned towns, the former Deputy Speaker of Ondo State House of Assembly did not forget to appreciate the Executive Governor of the state , Arakunrin Odunayo Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN and other members of the State Executive Council for the political will to consciously implement the recommendations of both Justice Ajama Commission of Enquiry and the Review Committee set up to painstakingly peruse the report.

In particular, he thanked the Olowo of Owo ,Oba Ajibade Gbadegesin Ogunoye (III) for his magnanimity, understanding and support for the governor throughout the period of the exercise. You will recall that that Pa Michael Adekunle Ajasin raised a similar committee that recommended elevation of many traditional rulers in the state during his regime. Of importance ,the stool of Asuada ,Olupenmen and many others were elevated with the approval of Prescribed Authority. According to Arowele ,he described Owo people as brave and fearless citizens with forthright and purposeful leadership.

" It's my belief that our Royal Fathers are men of honour and dignity. I appeal to them to cooperate with our dear brother and son, Arakunrin Odunayo Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN to arrest the insecurity situation in the kingdom by fishing out criminal elements in the various communities.

He therefore called onthe traditional rulers especially in Owo Local Government Area and Ose LGA to close ranks and collectively fight the scourge of insecurity in the kingdom as he described as barbaric, appalling and demeaning the recent gruesome murder of Olufon of Ifon, Oba Adeusi and the worshipers at St. Catholic church ,Owaluwa among others.
Arowele finally submitted," I felicitate with our traditional rulers and the entire people of Owo kingdom for the feathers added to the royal caps of our Kabiyesi 's. Truly Owo Is One and shall continue to be one with one accord, destiny and fate. "
