Eyitayo Jegede SAN, the PDP gubernatorial candidate in the 2020 governorship poll in Ondo State has said that with the ongoing efforts to unite all warring factions in Lagos State chapter now yielding positive results that the plan of the the largest opposition party to recapture the entire SouthWest is becoming a possibility.
Although there are few difficulties encountered by Reconciliation Committee under his watch, yet he revealed assurances have been given most critical stakeholders and Chieftains like Ch. Olabode George of the umbrella party to allow peace to reign.
During the week, Eyitayo Jegede after several meetings with the stakeholders alongside his committed members has this to say ,"The process of aligning the various passionate interests in Lagos PDP got-off on a very promising note, with the visit of PDP Special Reconciliation Committee to Lagos State during the week. The common desire to see PDP reclaim Lagos is very reassuring."
There is a relief from the forgoing revelation that the PDP is getting set to put its house in order in Lagos State and the entire south-west geopolitical zone.
In Ondo State too, similar efforts was initiated just like in the various chapters of the PDP in the zone, by the State Executive Committee under Alh. Fatai Adams.
The three Committees set up are by Dr Eddie Eniola Olafeso, the former National Chairman, PDP South-West Zone and gubernatorial aspirant ( Ondo North; Rt. Hon. Bakita Bello, former Speaker of Ondo State House of Assemby ( Ondo Central) and the former State Chairman of the PDP in Ondo State and now Chairman of PDP Ondo State Elders Council, Dr Tayo Dairo ( Ondo South).
The processes are yielding positive responses from all critical stakeholders as gathered by Abejoye Media News while speaking with some leaders and critical stakeholders of the party who prefered to remain anonymous.
