An Ondo State High Court sitting in Akure has sentenced three out of the four killers of Olufunke Olakuri, daughter of Afenifere Leader, Reuben Fasoranti to death by hanging.
The Trial Judge, Justice William Olamide however discharged and acquitted one of the accused, who is the Publici Relations Officer of Miyetti Allah, Auwàla Abubakar.
As gathered from the Track News by Abejoye Media ,Olufunke Olakuri, the beautiful daughter of the foremost Afenifere Leader, Pa Reuben Fasoranti was shot dead in a cold blood in June, 2019 by the gunmen in Ore, Odigbo Local Government Area of Ondo State.
She was then buried few weeks after her gruesome murder.
Her alleged killers were later apprehended and arraigned six months after her death.
Olufunke was the wife of the highly cerebral and brilliant community leader and Coordinator of Owo Development Initiative,Mr Idowu Olakunori.
This judgement came bearly a week after Owo kingdom her husband's homegrown witnessed a terrorist pogrom which shook foundation of NIGERIA with the dastardly masacre of St. Francis Catholic Church,Owaluwa in the ancient town.
However there was a bit of relief considering the fact that the culprits did not escape the full wrath of law.
