The Elemure of Emure-Ile Kingdom, Oba Simeon Adedubaje-Adeyefa (I) is shockingly devastated by the collateral damage associated with the masacre of innocent lives of worshippers at St. Francis Catholic Church ,Owaluwa Owo in early hours of today
As a responsive and responsible leader of people, he is extremely heartbroken with the huge loss of bright souls sent to their untimely graves by vampires masquerading as unknown gunmen.
On behalf of the entire good people of the kingdom, the traditional ruler is diminished by the wanton destruction of precious lives. He shares the grief of this callous and barbaric annihilation with HE, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN, the government and the entire people of Ondo State.
The Kabiyesi's thoughts and prayers are with the traditional ruler of the Owo kingdom, Oba Ajibade Gbadegesi Ogunoye III who he believes is definitely painfully traumatized by this colossal tragedy. Also , his condolences is sent to the body of Christ in the Catholic Church for the departed souls ,and wishes the scores wounded in this pogrom a speedy recovery.
In his deepest heartfelt condolences, Elemure and his subjects share in the pains and anguish associated with this mindless and senseless killing, and the general apathy that currently envelopes the entire fitmament of the sunshine state particularly Owo LGA.
While requesting in strong terms that this die-hard criminals be fished out and punished accordingly by combined efforts of our security apparatus, Elemure wishes to passionately appeal to all to be security conscious at this critical moment by being our brothers's keepers. He charges our security personnel and federal government to beef up the nation's security to ensure safety of our people and the peaceful co-existence among the entire citizens of the country especially the inhabitants of the kingdom.
Once again, Elemure wishes the departed souls peaceful rest in eternity and the injured accelerated recuperation.
He is aware that his words will be insufficient to assuage the anguish and cherished memories of the loved and the lost, however he realizes the consolation and comfort required at this trying moment may be found in this condolences message.
May God Almighty grant us all especially the family of the deceased and the Catholic Families mostly affected by this holocaust the rare fortitude to bear this monumental irreparable loss.
