Ijalana Olabode Meets His Coordinators; Declares Total Support For PDP After Losing To Abbey ShopRite In Owo Constituency (I) After Closed Door Meeting


Not  relenting in his resolve to joint forces with concerned Nigerians working round the clock to liberate the masses currently groaning under the burden excruciating pains of woes of the ruling APC under president Muhammadu  Buhari, Hon. Olabode Ijalana ,one of the aspirants in the State Assembly Primary of PDP in Owo Constituency (I) in Ondo State met with his coordinators in the five political wards in his constituency.  


Olabode has indeed demonstrated uncommon sportsmanship as he was the first person to congratulate his co-aspirant, Ch. Adebayo Abiodun Ibrahim-The Adafen Olomiyete of Iloro Quarter, Owo from Iloro Ward 6. He has equally pledged his loyalty before, during and after the primary election to support the party irrespective of victory or defeat.

In fulfilment of his pledge, he held a meeting with his ward coordinators in a close door meeting . Olabode spoke to Abejoye Media shortly after the meeting on Monday at the Mydas Hotel,.Ikare Junction, Owo.


Olabode Ijalana Congratulate the PDP family in Owo LGA for the smooth process throughout the period of the primary. He thanked the leadership of the party at all levels particularly the Local Government Executive Committee and the Ward Chairmen under High Chief Idris O. Olafimihan-Asaba for their responsible leadership.




According to Ijalana in his conversation,he revealed thoughtfully, " To us ,we are grateful to our party leaders and hierachies for the opportunity provided for us to test our popularity.In fact , I have seen democracy at work. My defeat is an eye opener for me ,and we understand where to dot our i's and cross t's."  " I congratulate once again , the candidate of our party in our Constituency ,my dear brother and friend, Ch. Adebayo Abiodun Ibrahim, a.k.a Abbey ShopRite who won our primary." 

"Olabode then congratulates all the PDP candidates that emerged in the just concluded primaries in the state especially those from Owo LGA like Hon. Kehinde Ajanaku, the candidate for Owo Constituency II; Rt Hon. Ayodeji Samuel Arowele ,the candidate-elect for Owo/Ose Federal Constituency and Hon. Adetokunbo Modupe TOKS , the Candidate-Elect for the Senate in our federal Constituency  and Senatorial District.To all victors,let them be magnanimous in victory; and let all the defeated be humble in victory."


On the meeting with his coordinators,he said," This meeting becomes crucial as all my co-ordinators, teeming supporters and followers must decide on the next line of action. "Lucky for me, most of my Coordinators are party Executive Committee Officers. It's easy to reach aelectiong conclusion." Stressing further , BBC as he is called by his political associates and supporters as well as admirers declared that they would work for the party assiduously to win the forthcoming general elections so as to oust APC out of power at all levels.


He thereafter passionately appealed to all PDP members to close rank so as to defeat the ruling APC." It's our advice to our party hierarchy and critical stakeholders to shun bitterness and embrace love and unity to stand as one united family in our attempt to defeat APC. Our party members needs support and orientation to vote wisely. Our party needs aggressive mobilization and campaign especially in the media space to expose all the wrongs of APC on the corridors of power. 


The crucial meeting was well attended by Olabode's key supporters. Among those on ground were his Coordinators like  Mr Abegunde ojo (Ward Secretary, Ehin-Ogbe ward 1); Mr Onisile olayemi (Vice-Chairman Igboroko 1 ward 2; Mr Adafin Haruna(Youth Leader, Iloro ward); Mr Odeyemi Titus(youth Leader Igboroko 2 ward 3) and Mr Faleyimu Dennis (Vice-Chairman Idasen Ward 9) among others.
