The former Deputy Speaker ,Ondo State House of Assemby ,Rt. Hon. Ayo Arowelele who is now eyeing the coveted seat of Member, House of Representatives ,Owo)Ose Federal Constituency felicitates with the muslims in the state particularly in Owo and Ose LGAs on the Ramadan Fasting which ended yesterday.
In his a season greetings message personally signed by him, he thanked Almighty Allah ( S.A.W) for the enablement granted the muslim community to observe peacefully this year Holy Month of Ramadan.
The message reads in part: " The past thirty days have been a critical period for you all as your prayed for the nation and her good people. I appreciate your spirit of patriotism and commitment to one indivisible NIGERIA despite the heaps of predicaments confronting us all."
" The mindless salvage and senseless brigandage spiced with political distortions, social crises, tribal and religious bigotry and regional bias are seemingly unfortunate at this critical moment in our journey to true nationhood. Your supplications and intervention have indeed whittle down the effects of the colossal collateral damage associated with this madness."
"Please ,don't relent , continue to intercede in your prayers for the nation that needs a chosen one by Allah himself to govern it."
He admonishes them to celebrate with moderate but to remember the have nots so as to cater for them in the spirit of the Holy Month and the teachings of Islam,the religion of peace and total submission to the will of Allah. He also reminds them to be security conscious as they gather to celebrate noting the cruel activities of the enemies of the state that are on the rampage.
Finally he pleads with muslim Umah to pray and support him, and his aspiration for Reps.
