Barely twenty-four hours of the official announcement of his name as Chairman of the Appeal Screening Committees in Ondo State by the Iyocha Ayu -led National Central Working Committee ( NWC), Alh. Sadiq Oluwole Obanoyen ,the former Senior Legislative Aide (SLA) to the Deputy Senate President of the 8th Assembly, Rt. Hon. Ike Ekweremado thanked the PDP hierachy for the confidence reposed in him to lead the committee.
The Appreciations Letter of the political gladiator and the immediate former PDP Candidate for Owo /Ose Federal Constituency in 2019 general poll surfaced on the social media platforms and is still trending.
The letter which was written with a grateful heart reads as follows:
My Appreciations For This Undeserved Honour
I want to appreciate the leadership of our great party (PDP) for the confidence and responsibility reposed in me to chair the Screening Appeal Committee of the House of Assembly and the National Assembly of our great party in Ondo State.
I also thank the leadership and members of our party in Owo for identifying with us even as we undertake this short but onerous task.
I want to assure you all that the committee under my watch will carry out its duties dilligently and to the best of our ability, with utmost transparency and integrity.
May the Almighty God grant our great party victory in the forthcoming elections and return peace and tranquility to our dear nation.
