One of the numerous political tragedies and trajectories confronting our contemporary politics and governance is the failure to learn from history and past errors as people.
Very often, we invested and conferred mandates on those whose political backgrounds and antecedents we barely known ab-initio. People got fixated in token momentary cash or trapped in nepotism, tribal or clannish sentiments if not religious bigotry at the detriment of merit, loyalty and commitment, competence and capacity among other requirements for good governance and effective representation.

Consequently, we pay dearly for our periodic mistakes ; and ipso facto brought to us lamentations, setbacks and under-development in our society.
Behold, we are at the verge of taking another decisions and choices that will either put us in perpetual state of abysmal failure or draw us closer to the corridors of freedom for the actualization of our collective interest and welfare as a Northern Senatorial district of Ondo State.
Therefore, the question to ask ourselves is, where do we go from here?.
AKOGUN TOKUNBO MODUPE is the way to go and his victory is a" fait accompli " given his impactful politics and testimonies in Ose Local Government and Ondo State at large . His teaming supporters and followers were proud to showcasing, canvassing and recommending him as the best brand for Senate in the primary and general election in 2023 for the Ondo Northern Senatorial District. He is ready and equipped for this responsibility.
I must commend the great people of good will here for their profound and informed opinions. , I must appreciate their consciousness and objectivity on their choices for Toks.

Beyond rhetorics, Adetokunbo Modupe (TPT) is the best among alternatives considering his sterling performance and outstanding breakthrough and achievements in his private life, which have earned him several national and international awards in his chosen career.
His ebullient nature and political disposition is second to none particularly in the grassroot and this has endeared him to the heart of many in Ondo State. No wonder the nomenclature" TPT" is a household name in Ondo politics as a whole.
As a Harvard trained perception manager and public relations expert, he is charismatically endowed with inherent passion for human capacity development and reputed today in Ose Local Government as the best leader with impactful and vast political followers. He was instrumental and influencer of many political appointments for his teaming followers in various categories even when he is not yet in government. The motive and import of my above analysis is to simply appreciate Toks impactful politics at the grassroot occasioned by his very savvy political competence, capacity and capability at making things happening historically.
This will no doubt help to understand where we are coming from and where to go further. If Tokunbo have done all the above outside government organogram, he will definitely do many more in 2023 and beyond at the corridors of National Assembly ( the Red Chamber) when elected as our Senator, Ondo North Senatorial District.

The political hygiene he introduced in PDP intra-party contest and politics in 2018 whereby he stood and delivered his unit, Ward and Local government for his close political rival ( OPA) even when he lost the primary to him then remains evergreen. This uncommon action by Tokunbo is seen by all as the height of loyalty, maturity and deep respect for party supremacy, One good turn deserves another! . He has given a lot to PDP in different capacities and has paid his dues. He is a stable party man who knows all by their names and ready to work for all. Toks is not a nomadic politician wondering from one party to the other for desperate inordinate ambition.
Toks is ready.
