After serious agitations from concerned citizens, the name of the 398 victims, who boarded the ill-fated Abuja-Kaduna train, have emerged.
You will recall that on Monday night, some gunmen suspected to be Boko-Haram insurgents mindlessly bombed the Abuja-Kaduna train between Katari and Rigina axis, leaving hundreds of passengers dead and scores of others injured .
As gathered by Abejoye Media after the mindless attack that many passengers were said to have been initially kidnapped, including Zamfara State former deputy Governor, Mallam Ibrahim Wakkala Liman before the train was eventually bombed when many others were shot dead and few other passengers also sustained various degrees of injury from the gun shots.
Rotimi Amaechi, the Minister of Transportation, spoke on Tuesday while inspecting the site of the incident when he disclosed that no fewer than eight persons were killed during the terrorists’ attack.
In addition the twenty-five (25 ) people currently hospitalized due to the attack according to Amaechi, the names of 398 passengers, who were on board the bombed train, have now surfaced.
Regrettably though, the Minister disclosed that some of the passengers are still missing as at the time of gathering this report.
