The security consultant and expert, a philanthropist of Etikan Clan in Ilaje Area of Ondo State ,Ch. Godday Erewa donated two vehicles to the PDP at the party's State Secretariat in the early hours of Wednesday.
The 2020 gubernatorial aspirant who is currently an aspirant eyeing the South Senatorial seat in the 10th National Assembly donated the vehicles to ease party activities in the state in the area of mobility by key stakeholders. You would recall that this uncommon cheerful giver also solely rebuilt the PDP Secretariat at Alagbaka when it was razed down two years ago by hoodlums that hijacked the EndSars social impasse of 20th October, 2020.
The party Chairman in the state, Alhaji Fatai Adams Adekanye while receiving the gifts on behalf of the party appreciated the kind gestures and praised the benevolent spirit of the donor. In his words,' I appreciate you and praise your magnanimity. You have done again an exceptional thing just ike you did recently. This donation is huge and only Almighty Allah can repay your benevolence. " Also speaking at the occasion was Eyitayo Jegede SAN, the immediate gubernatorial candidate of the PDP in Ondo State and a great leader of the party who described Erewa as a rare gem and a special human species. While appreciating him for his kind gestures,he said ," Erewa is a special breed hewn from the finest marble of creation. He has done a spectacular thing again. I salute your courage and thank you exceedingly. Your reward definitely is huge and will soon be paid by God Almighty." He thereafter used the occasion to thanked all members of the party for their steadfast support especially during the just concluded bye-election while preaching peace,unity and cohesion within the party among all critical stakeholders and members across the entire sunshine State.
The Chairman of Elders Council and former PDP Chairman in the state, Dr Tayo Dairo was also on ground with Dr Gbakinro popularly known as Babalawo and a few other critical stakeholders chiefly within the State Working Committee. Dr Dairo extolled the rare virtues of the donor while praying for good health and long life to reap the fruits of his philanthropic gestures..
For the donor, he sees the car gifts as nothing but his own contributions towards rebuilding the party to winning status. " I'm a member of the PDP with a mindset of positive contributions. This gesture is indeed my sincere contributions to make the SWC works smoothly without any hindrance in the area of mobility," said Ch. Godday Erewa of Etikan Kingdom of Ilaje.
The gifts donated are one exotic corolla car and a muzzle- pencil Camry car.
