Hon(Mrs) Yetunde Dada, Erstwhile Caretaker Chairman, Ile-oluji/Oke-Igbo LG Declares Aspiration, Boasts of Unprecedented Victory At The Poll

Politics is considered in this clime as the business only meant for men for its nature. However ,the story is not the same for the Treasurer of the Ondo State PDP Support Group (PSG) and Ondo South Senatorial District Woman Leader, Hon. ( Mrs) Yetunde Dada who , as usual, is out to prove that whatever a man can do ,a woman will do it better.
Earlier today the ancient town of Ile-oluji, the country home and the political stronghold of the erstwhile Caretaker Chairman of Ile-oluji/Oke-Igbo LGA under Gov. Olusegun Mimiko, Hon (Mrs) Yetunde Dada went agog as she officially declared in a grand style her aspiration to run for the coveted seat of member , House of Representatives, Ile-oluji/ Oke-Igbo/Odigbo Federal Constituency in 2023 in a grand style.
The flag-off ceremony witnessed by many PDP stalwarts, opinion leaders and critical stakeholders as well as other teeming supporters of this amazon took place at LA Primary School Teacher's Hall; and in attendance at the political jamboree were the party chieftains mostly from the South Senatorial District like the former State Chairman/current member of Ondo State Elders' Council, Dr. Gbakinro (Babalowo) and others including Chief Akinbobola, Ch. (Mrs) Lydia Olafunmiloye, Hon. (Mrs) Khadijat Eniolorunda ,Hon. Banji Okunomo, Rt.(Hon) Jumoke Akindele, Engr. Raphael Ademulegun among other political juggernauts . Apart from the strong delegation of the PDP Support Group (PSG) under the watch of Hon. Bode Obanla but led by Hon. Akinmoladun and Hon. Adeloye, Deputy Coordinator and Secretary of PSG respectively , one of the prominent aspirants in the just concluded PDP Primary in Akure North /Akure South Federal Constituency,Hon. (Princess) Kemisola Adesanya who was a two-term member of Ondo State House of Assembly and the State Woman Leader of the PDP led other eminent women and political gladiators across the three senatorial districts to give solidarity support to the aspirant.
Notable among these women were Princess Roseline Aale ,Mrs Funmilola Oreke, Mrs Tola, Mrs Titilayo ojo, Mrs Tolani Agunbiade and too many others who cannot be mentioned for want of space.
Many party Executive Officers and critical stakeholders as well as opinion leaders from the South Senatorial District like the Senatorial Chairman, PDP chairman in Ile-oluji/ Oke-Igbo LG, LG/Ward Executive Committee members and the teeming supporters of the aspirant just to mention but a few were all on ground to add glamour to the event.
Conspicuously too, Yetunde"s darling husband, Otunba Dada was also there to provide the moral and physical support needed at such instance for her jewel of inestimable jewel just to mention but a few among members of her family.With the quality of support witnessed , it is clear that she received a nod from her family to run .
The event witnessed a new turn so spectacular when two other aspirants for the same seat came on solidarity visit. This singular demonstratiion of love by the aspirants points only to the cohesion among the PDP stakeholders and unity in the party as well as the readiness of the party members to oust APC ,the ruling party out of power at all levels.
The impeccable record of great achievements of Hon. (Mrs.) Yetunde Dada as a former Caretaker Chairman evidently has indeed endeared her to the hearts of the people at the grassroots level with the impressive turnout witnessed by Abejoye Media at the historic event.
While speaking with the PDP stakeholders and her supporters, Hon. (Mrs) Yetunde Dada in very strong terms assured them of quality representation and excellent legislative performance at the Green Chamber if she received their nod to serve as MHP come 2023. " I know you don't doubt my ability and capacity to serve and deliver. You have often demonstrated your love for me and my family at all times. I'm indebted to you all. I want to serve you as a servant-leader as Member House of Representatives in our federal Constituency. Please give me your support like always as I pledge never to let you down. "
With the rare pedigree and notable political clout of this political gladiator ,fine democrat and refined administrator with both institutional discipline and firm character, the political atmosphere of the constituency would soon be charged no doubt now that she has kick-started her campaign. However, it's clear beyond all possible doubts that Hon. Yetunde will pull a surprise at both the primary and general polls with her political sophistication and deep-seated experience as a political tactician and strategist in Ondo State .
